In August of 2020, Community Forward Inc. set up a Covid-19 Relief Assembly Station at the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ . This was made possible through a grant of $10,000.00 from the St. Louis Community Foundation. We supported 20 families in the Promise Zone with PPE and Food.
In January of 2021, Community Forward Inc. received a grant from the Urban League to provide 300 thermometers to the North County Community Development Corporation to distribute throughout North County during the pandemic. “Thanks to Mayor Ella Jones of Community Forward, Inc. for securing the grant for the thermometers. Our clients are very appreciative especially since they didn’t have one for their family. We look forward to our partnership as we continue our passion of serving the community,” Mayor Yolanda Austin, Jennings.
